monitor project The monitor project began as a senior thesis project. Version .90a, released at the end of my thesis, displays information about processes and threads and their use of memory, CPU, and disk writes. The project offers a balance between information and aesthetics, which hopes to provide a dialogue between the computer and user. Windows became a necessary interface for the first project, however a new version with a new redesign will be released for UNIXes.
landUse project The LandUse API is a set of software with which I have created my own artwork from. There are extensions of the c5corp package, Gpsylon package, and JAM package to allow interaction between a diverse sets of software. The package also reads Composite Theme Grid data, which allows artists some insight into public data and hopefully will nurture an exploration through artistic endeavors.
lucky day webcomic Hopefully this will become more of a current project, as I have been developing it off and on.
campus cart Campus Cart was the result of a challenge, 7 UCSD seniors, 10 weeks, multi-player, real-time, 3D, network game. I was the resident ICAM major in the group, which made me modeler, texturer, script exporter, openGL guru, and slave driver. The game required modeling a third of the UCSD campus, golf carts, low poly people (400 tri) and weapons. The goal is to convert students and kill other players with newspapers.
race track playa The premise of this project was to find something interesting to do in Racetrack Playa (in Death Valley) as an art project. Website design was by me and enforced with templates, to a degree. My own project was based on alternative narratives of the location, both real and imagined, created with Director.
